Epitaxial growth of Group IV semi-conductors became important for the geometrical scaling of electrical devices. This will be even more the case for 3D Power Scaling aiming heterogeneous integration of different device concepts. A range of processing challenges and possibilities for bilateral collaborations will be discussed.
