Marijke De Veirman


I graduated as a Master in Communication Science in 2012 and obtained a Master in Business Economics in 2014, both at Ghent University. In October 2014 I started as a PhD candidate and teaching assistant at the department of Communication Studies, Ghent University. I assist the master courses of the specialization communication management. My research interests include e-WOM and social media marketing, in particular influencer marketing. To this end, I mainly use quantitative methods including structural equation modelling and experimental design.
